Front License Plates cost $1.9 million.

This is the result of a bill submitted in 2002: http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp...?021+sum+HB280
And here is part of the impact statement showing savings of $1.9 million per year!!
“Assuming the fees remain the same, the reduction in the number of license plates could result in considerable savings for Correctional Enterprises as materials costs will essentially be cut in half. Based on data from the Department of Correctional Enterprises and current passenger plates sales data, DMV estimates expenditure reductions would be approximately $1.6 million per year for the next three or four years. In addition, the department estimates that decal expenditure reductions may be approximately $269,000 per year for the same period, providing overall savings of approximately $1.9 million per year.”

Burning Brakes
I moved from PA to VA last year, and this place is UNREAL! I dont care about the front plate... I only ran my temps on it cause the dealer put them on, and then I just ran the rear with the insert in the front. (On my C5)
