Plugs
Do the Iridium NGK plugs really help, or is it just a feeling people get after they pay $6.99 for each plug?
My Vette is primarily stock, and was considering the NGK platinum (not the deluxe platinum that are more expensive than the iridiums); however, I read on here all the time about how great the iridium plugs are.
Therefore, before purchasing a set, I was wondering if they really help, or is it just a good feeling?
Thanks in advance.

Stay away from Platinum. If you're like me and take your plugs out every $30K miles, you're better off with anything but platinum. Sure the platinum tips won't corrode, but they'll sure as hell get dirty and perform worse over time. Iridiums are okay, but expensive.
I've heard good things about Brisk plugs:

If you're going to pay $7 a plug, the Beru's look like the best bet. Best bang for the buck is the TR's.
