I went and saw Mag red today; it is beautiful but its so dark it doesn't show off the curves of the corvette. I really like Precision red better; it looks like a sports car color...Sexy. So Victory Red I would have to choose if I bought red.

VR... in the picture it appears to be more of a "blue-based" red, or is my computer monitor playing tricks on me? Hey, they both are hot!

Mag red-you get 2 colors for the price of 1-In the sun it shows it candy apple metallic -in the shade an in doors it a deep red-VR has too much orange -almost lik the C5 torch red!

Wife calls MagRed "old man red".
I think the color is OK with black interior, but prob my last choice of color...

Wow! Somebody brought an old thread back to life. But there's no pictures, as the title suggests. I'll put in a new vote. I just traded my Mag Red C5 for a Crystal Red C6. . . pretty close match.

Both nice colors but I'll take Magnetic Red Metallic II. 
It's a matter of opinion...Vive la différence! I never considered Magnetic Red Metallic II to be particularly dark...especially compared to Monterey Red. Mag Red is close to candy apple red and it doesn't have the orange of Torch Red. Mag red is, however, perhaps the most 'chameleon like' of the colors changing hues with the varying lighting conditions. Mag Red does appear darker when it's overcast or in low light conditions but in sunlight its absolutely electric...it lights-up!
It's an old photo shot in the shadows but I think it shows-off Mag Red pretty well...
