PICS from WhirlyBall II - Chicago Crew
Another great night of fun, hosted by Raina and Collin (Little Trouble and C'OBrien) at Whirlyball in Lombard.
(ALSO - CONGRATLUTATIONS to Raina and Collin for the great news - expecting their first child in May!

I tried to get shots of everyone, so if I missed anyone, please forgive me. Because I was using a telephoto lens, and the fact that the action was "fast", some pics are a little blurry. It's a good camera but a underfunctioning novice taking the pics.
I took some pics using the "speed sequence" shots to show some slo-mo action - here's an example of Jim Bacus taking a breakaway shot:
In the clear with the ball, checking for the enemy!
Moving up and lining up the shot!
Taking (and missing) the shot!
And getting SLAMMED for his efforts!!!
I don't know why the last 3 pictures are small - but you can see them better in webshots.

I am so bummed I had to pass....I haven't had the same pain in my hip since last time.

I seemed to have bullseye target on my back, I was getting hit a lot!

Hey Brad, great pictures, and thanks to all for the comments. We'll have to plan the next one for January.
Thanks in particular to Brad for posting those pictures of Raina, they immediately got me off the top of her **** list, replaced by Mr. Tobasco himself!!!
