Default C6 problem (HELP)!

I just went on my first road trip. You just gotta love these cars. I noticed when playing the stereo the left channel cuts out when using any button on the information center. I cant seem to get up the courage to let the dealer rip open my new dash. If anyone has had this type of problem please share what should be a simple solution to the problem. Maybe a ground wire or somthing. The dealers I have called seem clueless. Please advise. Thanks

Check the sticky FAQ on the main page. Several have had similar problems with the speakers on the left (driver's) side. Yours is a little different, but may be a related problem.

Thats normal. All the C6's do it. The little chime you hear comes out of the left channel speakers

My mistake. Had not really noticed it cutting out when using the buttons on the DIC. Thanks for the info.

I notice the same thing and figured out its the chime kicking in when you press any of the DIC buttons.

Extraordinarily old thread...Half those guys may be dead by now.

You might start a new one...and with a more descriptive title than "C6 help"

You can't unless you replace the stereo system.

There are 2 settings. Loud and Louder.

Check your Manual.
