Pics of installed Kenwood DDX7015 double din LCD/DVD/NAV
I just got it 2 days ago and did a quick installation because i am tired of being without music. I am probably going to recover the dash plate in black utraleather after i fill in some of the gaps around the unit and it would look much better than painting it. I am either going to get a new console and recover it as well or just recover my current one.
Here are the pics:
the second pic shows how close it is when opened to the gear shift without actually touching it

got it on ebay new for 850...i intalled it myself...i had to sand the bottom of the radio bezel because it was a tiny bit low (it was the highest i could get without really modifiying the mount for it)...i am probably going to remount it about 1/4 higher and get yet another console piece (hey at least i didnt pay that much for this one $15) and see if i can get it in there with it not touching the bezel as it moves out. It is mounted in the casing of the old factory tape player so it bolts into the stock location, just need to fine tune the mount location to get it perfect

Nice ... I wasn't even considering a replacement for the Bose system in my 91 (CD player is touchy), because I wanted a stock look. However, this install looks quite nice. Wonder if there would be a any clearance issues with a 6-speed vs. the auto-shifter you posted? I already can't keep a cup of coffee in the cupholder and get the car into Reverse at the same time.
