...what color is yours? I'm talking about what Chevrolet designated RPO CC3.

My 86 came original with a dark blue- somewhat grey. I think there was another color called -bronze?? I know that only two colors were available.

`84 and `85 transparent tops should be black or a "smoke" tint.
Blue or bronze was available from `86-`96.

Thanks, Eric. That's what everybody tells me - here's why I'm asking:

My 1985 was being NCRS-judged last weekend and I had points deducted for the wrong colored top. There is no question that my top has a blue tint, but this is the rub; the date code on the top is correct for my early (November 1984) 1985.



It isn't a huge deal - 'Lauren' still Top-Flighted; just a matter of interest...

Shouldve been a blue smoke tint, looks black from the outside.

I'm pretty sure it is, but I say that mainly because it looks like its been through 20 years of use. I really doubt the previous owner would have replaced it

I have an '84 that I've been using as a parts car, and the top definately has a blue tint to it that looks black from the outside; and like mikey whipreck said, I'm pretty sure its the original top 'cause it looks like its been through 20 years of use
