Does anyone know the size of the spindle nut on the rear hub of the C6? I have an 05 C6 that I need to get the hub replaced and need the size of the bolt. It looks like it is 1 3/8 but I want to make sure....oh and what is the metric conversion of that? I have looked around and no one seems to have one deep enough to do the job so where can I get one too?

Our 2006 used a 33mm socket, but our 2009 needs a 34mm.
Someone said it's not the year that matters, but which supplier made the nuts. Hard to believe; it sounds bizzare that GM would not have a spec for the socket size, but stranger things have happened.
