Default Twin Screw supercharger for C5/C6 corvette coming!!

This is what we all have been waiting for. Available around march. I promised not to give too many details, but my car is getting it done first (as a test car - and maybe shown in a magazine) and I will post the dyno results/progress. I can give more details later. This kit will be great for road racing and will be easily capable of 700 rwhp with a forged bottom end.

This is legit, and people on the forum know me personally that I would not joke about this.

Vette speed freaks never had it so good till the C5 and onward!!! So many turbo, supercharger, and engine displacement options.

I'm a boost guy and as I said before when done right, boost gives the widest range of rewards.

For proof of the miracles of boost, check out this MB SL65, 19" rims, showroom stock, 1000 miles

I can't give it away right now, but I can promise it will be done by someone who has Lots of $$$$$$ for R&D. This kit will be intercooled, of course.

What the F!

You can't do that. Just come here and tease everyone with getting twin screws and say I can't say more than that. Come on now. Give it up. No names but tell us more about the unit and other goodies we would need. Will it need a new hood like the maggie?

Well that leaves only one company... Microsoft!

I will wait for Service Pack One to come out before installing it

It will be intercooled, capable of pushing an insane amount of boost if chosen. A new hood will be needed like the mag (I believe no taller than the mag), but it WILL be well worth it. Since I already have the mag hood it will be no problem. I will give you the name soon, I wish I could do it now. There is a reason I can't give the name just yet. I just want to alert corvette people that it's coming and get ready for something that will beat the magnacharger.

Thanks for the heads-up on this. I hope they will use cogged belts! I've been waiting to see a Whipple system operate.

Default Sounds good

If we're talking Whipple 2.3 or Kenne Bell 2.2 w/IC, should be capable of 600+ RWHP on the street with possilby a better low end torque curve than a turbo at 2/3's the cost! But add in the new hood!
The mustang people have long enjoyed these-hope it gets to us soon!
Roy

Sounds great.
I'm guessing this might have sprung up from the other thread asking for a twin screw? The advantages are huge with a well developed screw s/c and if one comes out I'm sure it will go over big. Once the potential is proven I can see a lot of people moving away from the centrifugal and roots blowers, maybe even the turbo people since it will be more cost effective. I can see a forged 348 with stage II heads, blower cam and bolt-ons making 700rwhp if the right sized screw blower is used.

What are the specs on your engine, stock or is it forged?

Someone needs to design a nice hood. I hate all the existing Mag hoods.

With this coming out, I am sure there are going to be more hood options...don't worry.
