Default OK I guess it really is a minor problem

I have a 1SB with Nav, and XM and it is basically locking up intermittently. All i have to do is shut down the power to the unit and it comes back up without a problem. This has all the hallmarks of a software problem but I haven't nailed down the sequence yet. I am going to take her in on friday for her first oil change and will report the problem then. Has anyone else noticed any anomalies with thier Nav?

TIA

Heard Will (plant manager) speak about this at a recent corvette club meeting. He said it was definitely a software problem and they have told the supplier to fix it. That was about a month and a half ago.

What's locking up? Is the radio/CD/XM muting or turning itself off? Or is the Nav system map display stopping cold? Or is it something else?

Actually they replaced the entire unit and it has been working fine since.

Thanks for the interest.
