Hey guys,

Need to sell my '03 Z06 and would appreciate it if you can let me know if anyone's interested.

Here are the details,
2003 Quick Silver w/ 2,500 Miles & Chromes
- 50th year emblems front & rear
- Original window sticker, manuals, all keys fobs, video tape, etc. that came with the car
- Has both of the options available on the Z06 (elec. chrom mirrors & memory settings via separate key fobs)
- 100% stock
- Bought a few things like the exhaust plate, intake, etc. but never put on the car, those items are just sitting in the corner of my garage (I know what you're thinking -- what a waste/shame, but got my hands full with 2 kids)
- Absolutely no nicks, rock chips, scratches, etc.
- Used only Meguiar's gold wash & wax to maintain it
- No accidents, damage, no hidden stories
- Never tracked, raced, etc. although I'd be lying through my teeth if I said I didn't push it a bit at tiimes like a Z06 was meant to be driven (only after breaking in period, see below)
- Broken in very carefully for the 1st 500 miles (under 3,000 RPM, etc.)
- Oil changes at dealership @ 900 miles and then again at 1,600 miles
- Stored last winter in heated garage using trickle charger & oil change done right before storage (to avoid damaging effects of even a little old oil sitting for long periods)
- Warranty good through Jan. 2006
- Private party in Chicago suburbs

- BTW, yes, I have tons of hi-res pics of my Z06 but if you spend any amount of time on this forum you know exactly what a stock '03 Silver Z06 w/ Chromes looks like but for those of you who want me to send pics, no problem, let me know. My e-mail is Vette2003Z06@yahoo.com

First $36,000 will get it. If no interest then I'll TTT for a while and then try to sell locally. By the way, I can work with you on the taxes. Can't make any promises but I'm a private individual so let's talk about that. Bottom line though you'll pay much more to a dealer.

Just to clarify this, my Z06 does have the 50 anniversary emblems front and back as well as on the key fob as well as a few other places, I believe manuals.

However, there was only 1 official version that was labeled "50th anniv. vette" and that came in only the magnetic red w/ shale leather.

Does that help? If not, I can clarify further. But yes, this is a 2003 model so by virtue all of them are the 50th year corvette models (to be distinguished from 50th year anniv. models).

By the way AOC, checked out your profile and it says "In search of a pristine Z06...2000 Camaro SS (Sold)". Well, I know how tough it can be to get pristine because your definition can be much different than others. But take a look at some of the details I've provided and how I've maintained my Z06. I really don't believe you'll find any better for that price and with only 2,500 miles. But bottom line is you have to stick with your price range and at $36K you have a lot of choices. Good luck with your hunt and let me know if you ever want to stop by and take a look in person. I'm about 30 minutes northwest of Chicago and the Z06 is sitting in my garage most days (have a daily driver for the kids, family).

Hey guys,

I appreciate a bunch of you e-mailing me about the pics. Sent back to everyone I believe but please let me know if I missed anyone.

Also, appreciate the offers but some of them I'm getting are for around $31,000 - $32,000. LOL. There are 2 offers I got from local vette specialists for $35K for my Z06 last week. I am aware of what I can get bottom line from the more reputable dealers out there. All I'm asking is $36K for it and I'm sure those same dealers would charge $37K+ and 8% taxes on top of that. You do the math if you're in the $36K price range and I don't think there's a better value for an extremely low mileage Z06.

IMHO you should work your two local offers of $35K against each other and then take the money and run. This is a savy group here and you will not get top dollar for your car on this forum.

If you want to sell it to a fellow enthusiast sell it here. If you want top dollar you may need to sell it somewhere else.

I sold my 01 Z06 in two days on this forum and made a friend in the process. I guess you could call him a friend, even though he won't accept my offer to purchase the car back

I agree with you that the folks on this forum are a pretty smart bunch including you and me. That's why I don't try to sugarcoat anything here (or even when & if I put my Z06 on eBay if no luck here).

I'm laying out all of my cards and sticking to my guns at $36K. There may appear to be better values out there but I would suggest folks to talk to the owner, find out about their driving style, what kind abuse the car has taken, etc. by the tone of their voice and answers. Mine is a 100% stock car that has been meticulously taken care of. It had the chrome rims on the car when bought new and that option can run upwards of $800+ I believe if you were to swap out the magnesium rims.

We'll see how things go. A bunch of people have shown interest but no one taking the next step at this point. But it's early in the game and these things must take their course.

Sorry if I go overboard on the ttt's but I know many people just look at the top ones out there.
