Default Englishtown Corvette Challenge Results

OK Guys here it is.... I'm sure someone who is better than I at writing will fill in the details...

Ralph won (Congrats Buddy) he beat "Yours Truly" in the final, Edgar made it to the semi finals... I got my gift from him.. I spun hard, & knew I was dead.... but he was killing the tree all day (he won the John Jr. Award ..trophy & $50) with a .006 light in round 1...

He was cutting "teen" lights all day, but he hit it a little too hard vs me.. whewwwwww... I was a dead duck, but Edgar went Red in the semi's... Ralph had a bye run into the finals..

In the final I had a .023 light but Ralph would hear none of that S...T he went .002.. At the finish we had to look at the lights on the wall to see who won.. Ralph took it by .007 Nice job Ralphieeee

I got lucky, & am in 1st place, & will go to the Bracket Nationals Sept 29- 30

Chris will go with me & trailer my car down... I'm sorry but I forgot the winners name of the Pro 8 but in the final he ran 8.57 @ 149 mph in a C4

OK guys help me out with what else happened...

Congrats to Ralph on finally getting it all together. Nice driving Ralph!

John, you were really the one to beat all day as you mowed through the competition. And congrats to you on getting into first place and getting to go to the Bracket Nationals. I'm sure you'll do us all (the Corvette Challenge racers) proud.

Thanks everyone. Been a tough season for me til now. I got a lucky light in the final and an apparent tree malfunction in my favor. Ya always need some luck to win one of these.

JP is having a great year. He's been hitting the tree when he's needed it and has gotten lucky when he misses it. Everyone needs a little luck to win a championship, but he's been driving better than i've seen him in a while. Hope he doesn't read this.....dont want his head to get too big ya know. As for me, i'm just happy when the car makes it to and from the track. It's still not right and i was down about 30-40 hp this Saturday???
