Generally speaking, how much weight does a supercharger system (all hoses, belts intercoolers or charge coolers & their fluids) weigh...?

What is it's weight bias generally driver side vs. pax...?

Do you have any particular setup in mind, my Magnacharger is pretty heavy compared to the stock manifold it replaced but the weight is centered on the car

I'm thinking of a couple of Supes, but weighing options such as weight, handling, etc. Apparently, C5's are generally heavier on the driver side before the driver gets in, so I have a concern of overloading the driver side for left vs. right handling.

Well under 100 lbs.

Pretty close to 50-55lbs. My P1SC head unit weighs in at 16lbs and the single intercooler Andy uses in hit kits as another 14lbs. The rest of the brackets, etc, have yet to come in but I am guessing about 15-20lbs for that stuff. Most of the weight will be on the front of the passengers side and in the nose.

I think the Vortech distributes the weight a little differently as the head unit is on one side and the intercooler is on the other.

The intercooler of Andy's kit is not really at the center but off set toward to the driver side.
