Default upgrading - Carb / Distributor or both??? should I?

Right now I have 350 small block auto and want to get some more performance out of her - getting ready to put some hooker headers on and was thinking about going with a new carburetor/Intake and maybe a new distributor -

here are one I came up with - the carb is what holley recomended with my type of cam and lift -

holley - Streeet Avenger 670 cfm
Weiand Aluminum 8016 intake Manifold

Distibutor -
MSD-8572 with the Blaster 2 Coil and MSD 6a Ignition Box -

How do those sound?? And I guess my real question is will this ad ALOT of horsepower to my engine and is it worth it to up grade to these. Which one would be the best to do, if I where to just do one?? Right now she running great and I really dont want to mess her up, but would love to get her running HOT!!!

Suggestions...

Thanks

Mark

I don't mean to offend any Holley fans, but I personally am a firm believer in Barry Grant fuel systems. The perfect carburetor for your car is the Barry Grant Demon Jr. 625cfm. Barry Grants carburetors are bolt-on ready out of the box. All Barry Grant carbs are tested on a shop-ready 350, tuned, adjusted, and performance ready.

Now, for your intake - nothing beats an Edelbrock.....can I get an hallelujah for that?!!!!!? Go with an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap Intake. It's the perfect match for the Demon Jr. Carb.

Distributors? Well, that's personal preference. Always remember: the hotter the spark, the harder the bang. Hotter = better.

Hooker Headers are the finest choice. I like 'em anyway. Doesn't everybody?

If your 350 hasn't been rebuilt, then be careful about the upper engine rebuilding you're doing.
