i think my '78 leaf might be squeaking, anyone have a reccommendation for an oil spray or some lube to help quiet the situation???

Spray outside of spring with molybdenum disulphide spray lube. It sprays wet but is a dry lube, like powdered graphite so it doesn't attract dirt. Leaves a gray residue.

You may need new plastic liners - go between each leaf.
What I've noticed is that it's not too much more to get the whole spring new.

I used WD40 on my squeeking leaf spring when I had my 82CE. I sprayed a Lot (went through a few cans) using the spray extension to get in between the leafs.....could not believe all the dirt and grit that came out but it sure fixed that darn squeek.

spring is relatively new, couple years old. im heading out with the wd40 now to try it! thanks guys
