bias ply pressure amount for F70-15 1969 corvette
the manual states 24 psi for the tires, it seems low, but I did it, still the handling is poor
I had these tires put on to be a purist, and at the dealership they put 42 psi in the tires, and the car was all over the road
it does drive better with lower pressure
is that what you have experienced

These repo bias-ply tires are terrible. I put them on my car for serious judging only.....I would never use them as my full time tire. Driving them is a kin to steering a boat and they pickup every groove in the road. As far as pressure I put in 30-32 psi.
What I did was to get a second set of wheels and put on BFG Radial T/As for driving.

42 psi is maximum allowable pressure. 24 psi would be correct. For some reason, the world is full of people who believe the max. pressure is what they're supposed to put in tires. They're wrong...dangerously wrong.
