I may be misunderstood in my above post.I'm really wanting to see some black vettes.68-72 or so. With the chrome bumpers.I love a black vette. If you could post pics of black C3s in general that would be awesome. :flag

I have a few things left to put on it still. the rocker molding on the passengrs side is off, the radio is out, and the wiper door is out of the car. It is my goal today to have this all put in and take some pictures for insurance purposes and then maybe this weekend get out and drive it. I also have some new wheels to put on too. I almost forgot about them.

All I can say is those cars look AWESOME!
My red (originally blue) 69 is showing the ineviatble signs of wear with accumulated rock chips. Fantastic body and good paint, just old and getting soft. I was trying to decide if it should be redone in red or go back to the original blue. I hope you all would take it as a compliment if I were to rip off your color. I have truly never seen more beautiful cars which I sincerely mean. They also look cleaner without the chrome gills or sidepipes. Both of which I was going to order but will now reconsider.
Well done!

My only guess would be that it shows too many imperfections in the factory body work.
Any ideas?
