Headlights quit...
Did some initial checking last night. Appears that there are no loose wires and since none on the headlights work and the high beam indicator doesn't come on, I suspect either the dimmer, headlight switch, or an open in the headlight breaker.
One of the check points is the dimmer switch. The book says that if you have power on only the blue wire, replace the dimmer. My dimmer has no blue, rather a yellow, brown, and green. I suspect that the yellow comes from the headlight switch, but none were hot on the dimmer anyway, so tonight I’ll check the light switch itself.
Anybody have different wiring on their dimmer or have I been bubba’d....

Replace the dimmer switch. I have had this kind of problem with a few GM cars and even 1 F@rd. Various problems, No lights, only high beams etc. Every one was a defective 30+ year old switch that has had foot abuse over the years.
