Yes, I bought a tranny on ebay, however it did come with the rest of the car attached to it.
I've been dealing on ebay for over 8 years now and like everything else in life, it's let the buyer beware. Now that said a closer look at this seller and his feedback it appears he builds a good product and most everyone is happy with the product. However it appears that he is a bit slow in delivery as most every feedback (at least on the first page) indicates a slow delivery/long wait. Guess he builds them "after" the auction is complete.
For $825, if the trans is as good as the listing states and the feedback apparently indicates, then this is a pretty good deal overall considering that shipping is included and no core charges apply. Also note that the 12 month warranty is only valid if the trans is used w/a new convertor.
So, do you feel lucky?
Good Luck!
