Default I got my new site up! Lots of pics of my car.

It's not done yet, but I've set up a server running Fedora Core2 and Apache. The Gallery software is Gallery 1.4.4 RC1. I'm still working on the whole home page thing. I mainly made this so I could share pictures with my family members who are computer challenged, but can find their way around a web page.

Let me know what you think! I've documented most of what I've done to my car.

It takes me about 15 sec. to load the whole page. I have DSL. I don't know what normal speed would be. I don't know if this helps. If there is a way to make it faster, just do it.

Steve,

It's looking good. I like the documentation. I have a cable modem, so it only took a few seconds to load it all up.

I'm serving it out of my cable modem. The web server is actually in my home office. I went next door and tried it on my friends dsl and it seemed ok. There's nothing I can do to speed it up, I was just curious.

Steve, I tried it again from my computer in my bedroom (newer computer) with same DSL service and it loaded the page in 2 sec. so maybe the last time was slower because of my sons computer (older computer) or my DSL service sometimes faster than other times. Anyways you have a cool site.

Yep. It's still holding together very nicely too. I ended up replacing 2nd gear, both shift forks and blocker rings. Rebuilding a 4 speed is pretty easy actually. I disassembled it and took it with me as baggage on the plane when I went to my parents place over christmas and rebuilt it there. My dad and I built a crate and shipped it back to VA where I was living at the time. UPS beat the hell out of the box, but the transmission made it ok.

Thanks for all of the compliments everyone.
