Default Rocker Channel Repair

For you guys that have done this. How did you support your body while repairing/replacing your rocker channels?

I blocked it up under the storage compartments and the firewall on jack stands. You will want to get it up about 2 feet or so, you will be spending a great deal of time under there. Leave the radiator support in as well and provide some support under that too. I also had to fabricate new seat belt reinforcements on both sides (the ones that are welded to the rocker channels). Do a search for redwingvette, he has a web page with photo's of the entire process.

I biult up some bucks out of 2X4's to fit the floor space under the seat area. Then I used a saw horse under the storage area. Then I used a saw horse to support the nose. Check my web site for more.

Thanks guys

I was planning on supporting the nose at the radiator support and in the rear at the #4 mounts but I was unsure if the floorboards would take the weight. It looks like they will and that sounds like a plan
