Default Brakes are grabby - I hate brakes

Ahoy Hoy.

My brakes work good. Too good. They require very little pedal pressure to produce a whole lotta braking. Could it be:

1. too large of a booster?
2. rotor runout incorrect?
3. normal for a 67 type set up with braided SS lines?
4. an adjustment?
5. I'm an idiot?

Perhaps this is how a rockin' set up is supposed to work - I'm used to more pedal travel and less grabbiness. (also called GM mush) I've gotten used to it but sometimes I hit it a little too hard and whiplash!

Any thoughts?

The stainless lines will eliminate a lot of the "mush," as the rubber hoses give a little when pressure is applied (especially if the hoses are old).
