I would go here www.classicchevy5speed.com and contact Jeff for a much more speedy order and should have a better shifter than what is normally used in about a week from now.

I put in a TKO-600 in my 68 BB with 600tq and a 3:70 rear at 2000RPM I was going 44MPH with the M-21. Now I cruising at 68 mph. That's a big difference got a lower 1st gear 2.87 and 5th is.64. I get about 18 mph cruising in the countryside with 500 hp under the hood. Bought mine at: http://www.classicchevy5speed.com/
and saved over $1000.00 and they shipped within a day or so. I've had it for over 1 yr now and it was the best thing that happened to this C3

Just what you need!
I read your post about considering a Keisler 5 or 6 speed. Either one would be great in your car!
Another piece of great news - the delivery time for the TKO 500 5 speed is down to just a few weeks!
The 5 speeds bolt right in and both 5 and 6 speed kits have the correct shifter position, but the 6 speed requires a piece be removed from the front of the trans tunnel and some mods to the 4 speed crossmember, but all the pieces to adapt the crossmember and cover the tunnel modification are included in the kit.
Please call if I can answer any questions for you.

Thanks for the kind words about us (www.ClassicChevy5Speed.com).
Let us know if we can help you out with any installation questions or anything about specs on which way to go TKO 600 (.64) or TKO 600 (.82). My partner (Jeff) and I recently completed the installation of a TKO in his C-3 (1968) so we know first hand what it takes and efforts needed to get it in.
Give us a call if you have questions or need assistance
Thanks, Scott
