help on tie down straps

Auto zone has some 10,000 lb straps on sale, are these strong enough to use to tie down a car on a trailer. What exactly does the 10k lb mean?

10,000 lbs. i use 4 and cross them to hold car from side to side also
use a chain as the 5th point to rear of trailer as a STOP safety
