Whats a 79' worth?
Hello,
I am trying to sell my 79 for an older vette. I don't know what to ask. I paid(overpaid maybe) 12,500 for it. It is an L-48, auto with 50k. 2 owner car. No damage, repaint still has good gloss. New tires, tune-up, carb rebuild, heater core, front calipers, dynomax headers, and mid america dual exhaust conversion kit in the last year or so. Car runs and sounds great, but there are so many 79's out there. Any thoughts on what I might get for it. Maybe 11k? Too much? Any suggestions would be apprectiated. Thanks, Ron

Welcome to the insanity!
You can also try looking here for a price guide for older classics.
http://www.manheimgold.com/
Prices should not be considered set in stone, but should give you some idea and an additional reference.
Good Luck!
