Default Distributor

I have, what appears to be a very new condition Corvette Distributor. It also has a rebuilt electronic box and coil. This information was given to me 20 years ago when I made a corvette part trade with a guy. The distributor # is 11111296. He told me at the time that "this is a very rare magnetic pulse distributor for Corvette big blocks" (ZL1 if I remember right).
Can someone please help me. I am in processing of selling/trading all my corvette stuff and don't want to mislead anyone.
Thanks, Boomer

1111296 shows in the Cars and Parts 1955-93 Chevy v8 casting numbers as "1968 427 Corvette 435 hp transistor ign". Hollander interchange does not have that number. Hope that helps.

My references check with Mark's: 1968 only on the L71 and L89 engines. Production run was ~3,500. That's a pretty rare item.

Those TI distributors are pretty rare... They have a tendency of pulling pretty good bucks on eBay.

The aluminum band is marked as follows: 1111296 DELCO REMY 8 C 25.
Hope this helps.
