Did 1971 LS-6 motors come with A/C

Nope. No AC available on LS6 BB or LT1 SB. AC was available with the base engine and the LS5 454 (365HP).
In 72 you could get the LT1 with AC, but alas, the LS6 was gone.

Hmmmm.... maybe I'm being lied to then? I know a guy here in Houston who says his '71 vert LS6 shark has factory A/C. But knowing this guy, there's no telling if he's telling the truth.

Doubtful, Aftermarket AC maybe , Get the numbers and run them down and see what comes up.
