My biggy squeak was the T-Tops. Fixed it with a little "all purpose" grease.

Squeaks
I had the bushings replaced on my 80 at a Porsche hi performance shop.
The mechanic is a friend of mine and he said the high performance aftermarket bushings are effective but squeaky on many cars.
Other than that I would pinpoint the source and then go from there.

A lot of the poly bushings are now impregnated w/graphite. This has eliminated a lot of squeaking in the bushings. I've found that a lot of squeaking comes from the sway bar bushings, especailly if they are poly. Sway bars flex a lot and if the poly bushings are not greased well you will hear it all the time. It's not the end link bushings, it's the bushings that mount to the frame. You will also get it from your a-arms if they are not greased well either.

i got the sway bar greased pretty well, an the outside control arms where the upper and lower meet the wheels, but is there a way to lube the two inner bushings where the upper and lower arms meet the frame? i know those bushings are mechine pressed and dont have zerks, but when i push down on fenders im pretty sure those are squeaking

I've had some kind of interior squeek driving me crazy for over a year. It seemed to come from around the dash area. My wife was riding with me one day while I was trying to find it. I could make it stop just by reaching up and putting my hand most any place on the dash.....guages, radio, AC vents. She finally gave me this "you just fell off the turnip truck" look and reminded me that it stops every time I lean forward in the seat....Duh. Soooooo ...maybe a seat hinge or something. Squeeks aren't always where they sound like they are.
