HVH Super Sucker spacer on the way. :)
Just ordered a 2" composite super sucker carb spacer from High Velocity Heads.
They claim they are good for 1/10th ET. I am waiting for a good weekend where I can make enough consequtive runs to determine which spacer my car likes the best. None, 1/2" open, 1/2" four hole, 1" open, 2" four hole, and the HVH spacer.
I will take a wild guess and say the HVH works the best...
This last weekend at the track was a bust. The DA was 7400' and I only got 4 runs in. Once it cooled off it rained and they canceled. Avg was 12.3 with 1.8-1.9s 60' using the 1/2" four hole spacer.
Going to be doing a few other things before I go back, getting some 9" slicks, dragvette loops, and manual steering.

Awesome, i'm glad you were happy with it! They do strongly advise against using the composite spacer on the street as it will warp with the heat-cycling.
Also, I think that I could fit that air cleaner under my hood with the 2" spacer on, do you have a part number?
Did you lean the jets 2 steps like they suggest?
Thanks!

The air cleaner is an edelbrock pro-flow...As far as lowering the jets no..All i had to do was adjust my idle mixture I hope you have a hood simular to this....cuz it just fits.

Their arguement is that the added velocity just below the carb will draw more fuel richening the mixture. They suggest you lean it out 2 jet sizes. Maybe give it a shot? I am going to try a few different jettings.
As far as the hood goes... I have a freak stock L82 hood.
I have 2-1/8" of hood room with a victor jr and a 2" spacer.
...who knows.
Thanks!
