Default The old dirt in the needle and seat trick ?

I couldn't get the motor running properly and when I shut it off I noticed alot of gas pouring into the primaries from the boosters. Is this the notorius dirt in the needle and seat ? What can I do about it ?

remove and plug the fuel line, start the engine and run carb dry. this will drop the floats all the way and open the needle and seat all the way. reconnect the fuel line and restart the engine and this should wash any debris from the needle and seat.
