Default rear shock install w/ gymkana spring

any one else have this problem....

spring force keeping shock from being installed

if you put jack under swing arm to raise it, the car comes off the jack stands before you are close enough to get the shock on

might try to load the car up w/ a few neibors and try again.....

I had no issues with my '76, Zip's 7 leaf and KYB Gas Adjust shocks. I believe I put the shocks on before hooking the spring to the trailing arms. Make sure you torque the spring bolts with the full weight of the car on it to keep it flat at the mounting pad.
