Holy Cow vettfixr! Looks like I touched a nerve.

How long is that A6 gonna last anyway? I had three that leaked. I did manage to fine a chrome fan on ebay, but not sure it will fit since it came off a 73 BB. I do admire your air cleaner. How much $? Gotta put that on my list. BTW, when can you come down here and fixr my wiper problem. It is really not hot at all and never rains.

Yeah, you are still in the lead for now. On second thought, maybe you just have a better camara than me. Anyway, my compressor hardlines have more bends than yours.

No nerves involved at all. It's fun. I don't know how long the A6 is gonna last. The first one I got sounded like a boat horn when I ran it but this one is very quiet and seems to be doing the job well. If it breaks you're gonna have about a hundred e-mails about that Sanden.
I still see ads for Chromeco in the magazines but their site is kinda sucky. I think you'd be able to get a stock small block fan from them. You might want to give them a call. The air cleaner is from wyseco and it wasn't more than $50. I'd love to go with a full set of valve covers, air cleaner and breathers from Billet Specialties but those suckers are dear. Probably a lot better quality but I need to use my available mod funds to upgrade some of the stereo stuff next and maybe go for some different tops.

Actually, after finally getting the compressor thingy resolved, I have been on "summer break" these last few weeks. Most of my issues now are rather small. Gonna take it out and drive it a hundred miles or so on Friday. Good luck with the stereo project.

BTW, you are right about Chromeco; a difficult site to figure out.

No, I'm probably gonna end up refinishing the tops I have now. I might get an Astrotop to use while I'm working on them. I wish they still made the convertible tops that they had back in the 70s that clamped on like the stock ones.
