Default motor mount replacement, one side only

Is it OK to keep one rubber mount on passenger side connected while I change driver side by lifting block or will I tear the rubber mount?

sure, just don't lift the block too much. INch it up intill you can just remove & replace the mount.

Just did mine last weekend,, and did one side at a time. lifted each corner with the engine jack. Had to unbolt the headers to remove the old bolts. Be carefull with the fan, it comes close to the shroud. In all it is an easy job. must say I have a small block, don't know about the bb
