Default Good find at AutoZone

I narrowed my wiper problem down to a faulty motor with a bad switch to retract the arms during turn-off. So I was pursuing the catlogs and staring at wiper motors for $120+

I wandered into AutoZone and was shocked when they had one available for $55. It should be in tomorrow. Now I'm sure its not "correct", but either is my 400sbc.

So I just saved a ton of money on my wiper motor! We'll see how it looks tomorrow though

Jack, before you pay for it make sure it has the additional wire. It creates a delay for the wiper door. Without the wire the blades will hit the door before it opens.

If that works out let me know. I still have to test mine, but either the motor or the wiper door open switch is bad on my car.

I currently have two of these, and will have two more in the fall when I do the rear end. Lifetime warranty will be nice too, as I've had 3 leaky calipers in the almost 5 years of owning this car!

You Bet! I've found a lot of the parts I've needed (mechanical and electrical) are available at Autozone for a lot less than mailorder. And they usually have them in stock! i.e. horn relay for $4.50, AC/Heater fan relay for $5.99.
