Default 1979 canadian corvettes?

Does anyone know how many 1979 corvettes (out of the 53807 made) were Canadian? I am asking because I live in california and have a canadian corvette that I looking to sell. If original canadian corvettes are rare, maybe i can get more $ for it?

I don't know the number of Canadian Corvettes, but I don't think it would add any value no matter how rare.

It's probably worth more than mine, but only because Canadian ones that don't have frame rust are probably kinda rare

send your VIN to GM Canada's Vintage Vehicle service. for a small fee, they will send you back a bunch in valuable info on your car as they kept detailed import records.

Everybody and their "maybe mine is worth more because..." jive. It's a '79, NOT AN L88!

By the way, ever consider just because something may be rare it does not necessarily also make it desirable? Value is based on desirability, not rarity.

Do you mean it was orig shipped to Canada for orig sale? All vettes where/are made in the US.

No value added, if anything it decreases the value being in a snow belt.

Check with the Canadian authorities.
IMO: a Corvette exported to Canada would have no additional value over one which stayed here in the states.

I have a Canadian '79..and there is no added$$$$ value because of it.

If anything..alot of people don't like the METRIC conversion.

Personally I think it is kinda Kewl to have a speedometer that goes to 240!

I have the exact figure somewhere but about 6,000 were exported to Canada. They have no particular unique features. The metric speedo can be swapped out for about $150.
