need a name of electrical supplyer plz
greetings!
I have some down time in the next week to finish up my electrical system on my vette. here is the senaro:
I have added 2 eletrical fans, HID, and want to add a seperate relay for the High beams (c3 are infamous for less that 12 volts to there high beams), and an electrical water pump.
add that all up and that is a lot of fuses, and relays and wires. I want to make a clean install by doing a "sub station fuse box" in the engine bay.
Im looking for a unit that has a pig tail for a plug in relay ,fuse ANd has a 'clip' in the side to add another one. all in all I will make a "bank" of these units. then mount it cleanly in the engine bay.
but I dont have any clue as where to look, or what that stuff is called.
thanks in advance foryour help
cheers

Believe it or not your best bet is to go pickup a Street Rodder magazine and look for one of the wiring companies listed in there. Painless Wiring comes to mind and they probably will have what you need.
You can also look for a truckers supply store or www.waytekwire.com may have what you need.

I've had good luck with www.haywireinc.com as well, the prices on some stuff seems to be a little better as well.

I'm doing a similar thing soon. I've heard that the junkyard is a good place. I'd like to get a fuse box from a "donor vehicle" and make it a "sub station" as you said. I've noticed that my BMW has a covered fuse box which would be great in the engine compartment...

Chad,
Waytek is good and you might look at Delcity.net and allelectronics.com (they have a dual relay socket)
I've got a pile of stuff your welcome to go through if you want to hook up.
