tach set up w/ new board?
i remember seeing a post about re-setting your tac needle
after you replace the circuit board....
once the board is in the unit can you just put 12v to it and
stick the needle at 0 ?

It's really a trial and error method until you get it right.
Install the needle, connect the wires, and watch the needle. It will most likely read 3000 or so. Disconnect the wires, VERY carefully remove the needle, reposition the needle until it reads 0 RPM with 12V applied. Continue until you reach the desired position.
