OT: Look what I added to the stable
Hey guys. The Vette is off the road for a few weeks while I deal with the tranny problems. I intended to replace our second car sooner or later. Guess it has to be sooner. I bought a 94 BMW 540i on ebay on Thursday, flew to Dallas on Friday. I left Dallas at 5pm est and had it home to Cape Coral before noon on Saturday.
yup, 4.0 liter v8 with 286 hp and about that much torque.

Comp: this is my second ebay car. My Vette was my first.
Jughead: 118K miles. I was leary at first, but after reading some BMW forums and looking at how many are for sale with 175K-225K, I decided that the miles are no big deal. I've had greater success with higher mileage cars than ones that have been parked. The price was right for the mileage. Same car down here with similar mileage is selling for 4-5k more than I paid.
