AC R12 not putting out the cold. What are the options?
My uncle stopped by and saw me replacing all my belts and some new headlights. My old low beams were not halogens even!! New bulbs look much brighter. Hes trying to get me to let my Aunt drive the vette. She loves it.
Anyways I finally put a belt on the AC compressor after 2 years without. No cold air.
My uncle had said he thought there was a new plug and play alternative for R12 cars instead of doing the R134a recharge business.
Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Brent--basically take it to a good A?C shop--they will probably change the o-rings, hoses possibly refill, and pressure test it for about 20-30 min to see if it holds. Not the cheapest fix--probably will run about 300 bucks depending upon how much juice it takes.
