Default H4 headlight conversion Anyone done this?

See link:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7905543199

Looks interesting. Lights come from India it look like.

Looks like the bulb would mount straight up to our 3 prong H5006 bulb connection.

Seem to me though it would be better to set-up a relay'd harness from the battery to save your switch.

Any comments?

Never heard of this manufacturer before and would be sceptic regarding quality... That said, I'm running a set of German made H4 Euro headlights on my 71 since about 5 years or so. I love these lights. Contrary to the factory flashlight approach, these actually light up the road. If the bulbs burn out, I can just replace the bulb not the whole assembly. The only thing to be cautious of with 'E' style headlights is that aiming them is much more important than DOT lights. The 'E' lights have a very sharp cutoff so if you aim to low you won't see and just a litttle too high and you're blinding people.

Did you do a relay set-up or did you do a plug and play?

No relays, just factory wiring. Don't really need relays with 55/60W bulbs. Relays are needed for the non-standard higher wattage H4's.
