Default Who Moved My Cheese?

It was written nearly a decade ago but has applicability to this day...to this forum...but who moved my cheese?

Without warning...logging in...the entire C'forum changed without warning...a mild irratition but still without warning.

I hate it when these computer geeks do this crap and fail to think through the full ramifications, one of which is to alert those who invest in its success. When will they learn?

??? it's free, it's their server, their software.......

Also, the forum works in about 99% the same way as the other one did. I don't get what all the fuss is about. If you relly had problems operating the forum, how on earth did you post your message???

soory but I'm getting a little tired of this endless stream of compaint post.

Cool your twin turbos! You sound more irrated by reading all those posts...perhaps you ought to quite reading them and you wouldn't get so wound up.

Beside, if you had read my comments carefully...you'll note there was no indication of problems...in fact the transistion was quite smooth. My comment was simply it would have been nice to get a heads up!

Apparently you're getting tight simply reading those comments and perhaps should move on to the C4 forum or something.

It would have been nice if they put the new instructions for logging on on the log on screen, rather than where you can only see it after you log on. Joe

OK, how do I change the "Community" links to C3 items? Joe

Sometime ago it was hinted that changes were on the way. I think the magnitude of it sorta surprised us all.

The CF is being provided to us absolutely free. How can anyone legitimately complain?

No need to cool down as I'm not irritated, I'm merely saying that it's getting really old really fast with all these complaint topics.

If there were no problems then what ramifications are you talking about? Merely the change of look the forum has gotten? You are the one that is reacting in a ticked off manner, not me. I have no problems with people saying their piece but why not stick to one or a few topics, creating new topics that are about the same thing has no real additional value.

And who are you to tell me where to go...if you have problems with me go there yourself as I'm not planning on going anywhere else. Maybe your cheese is in C4...or maybe the gift horse ate it, stare in it's mouth some more, you may find traces of it

Joe in the right upper hand corner there's a pull down menu to select what template to use, just like on the old forum. Set it to C3 and your community links should be C3 related.

Just don't be like Hem and Haw. Go with the change, and all will be good, at least in this instance. But do not go with the flow if you disagree!

Hmmm...I thought it was announced that we were changing software. I know Troy talked about it at the Cruise In (that'll teach you guys to not go! :p: )

This is all new to me, too. Well, pretty new anyhow. Hopefully things will go smoothly.
