Default Upper A-Arm shims

I was detailing under the hood, lifted up one of the rubber dust covers and noticed that several of my allignment shims were awol.
Does NAPA stock these things?

He's waiting with his popcorn for someone with the answer.

I would think that any alignment shop would have them for sure, not sure about NAPA

Any shop that performs alignments will probably have no problem handing you a couple if you talk nice to the guy. If you want more they will sell you some for a couple of bucks.

Well, I can find them at my (large ) local hardware store.
I imagine that they should also be available at good auto parts stores.
Who knows - even Pep Boyz may have them.

The trouble I see here is: How many to put back in.
These adjust the caster/camber of the front wheel.
Best to have it aligned and fitted with the proper amount of shims.

I stopped by my local tire/allignment guy. He gave me a few no charge.
I knew how many I needed, as I had them documented.

Wait a minute... ...those things don't just fall out. Are you sure a couple of shims weren't removed during the last alignment? Those bolts should be very tight. If you put some back in, you might be putting the car out of alignment, right?

The set I got had several different thicknesses of shims so without an alignment I don't know how you could do it right.
