I'm interested in purchasing a 69 coupe t-top with 350 and auto trans, as this would be my first vette in an seeking advise on what i should be looking for in this purchase that would cause concern. Any help will be appreciated, also the car has 66,000 miles PS/PB and air conditioning.

1st thing you need to look at are the gaps in the doors, t-tops, front and rear bumbers, Note all gaps must be 3/8 to 1/4 inch gaps and the front bumber must be 1/2 inch all the way around if the gaps are greater then that the chances are the vette has major frame, bird gage, windshield frame rust or known as Vette-Rot. Reason we vette guys call it vette rot because the major rot is hidden by the fiberglass. If gaps are larger then indicated I would walk.
