I was poking around on Ebay last night and came accross a bunch of used steel braided hose some race outfit is clearing out. Being a cheap skate and figuring the stuff is pretty high quality I figured I might give it a try for my heater hose lines. Does anyone remember the approximate length and diameter hose needed for the two lines for a big block? I'm temporarily stuck in a wheel chair and can't get my sorry butt out to my shop/car to check it out myself. I wouldn't think neither would need be longer than 4 feet and a hose with a 14AN fitting or 16AN fitting should be 1 inch and 7/8ths right? Seems about right??
