Austin (Texas) Stingrays and Sharks Monthly gathering..
A. S. S. will meet again at Big Dave's Dam Saloon (hwy 620 and Debba dr) on the 3rd Thursday July 15th at 7:00pm.. Hopefully the rain will stay away this month.. Thanks to Jack and Will for braving the storms and showing up last month.. We will have our own waitress, coned off parking, reserved tables and a A. S. S. T-shirt give away... Cruise out to the lake and drink a beer in the Shark Pen !!

Moving to Austin in the Fall for school at UT. Plan to have my vette done by then, not sure if I'm going to bring it to school or not for safety reasons, but if I do, I sure will be joining all of you!

Re: Austin (Gage)
I came here to UT two years ago, lived in the dorms the first year, and had no security problems with the stingray. Only thing that ever happened was people would write stuff like "you rule!" in the dust on my car.

It's a profit deal...I see the angle JB is going for here. Very nice. While you are there, maybe you can look for help for Jeff's hulk, since he will be living in the Austin area at some point.

Free/Cheap C3 parts!
I'm moving and cleaning out my garage. After 15 years with my C3 and several upgrades, I have quite a few serviceable parts. I'll bring them to the Thurs meeting. Some will be free, some will be cheap.
Check 'em out.......

Okay, Yahoo Maps says it's 46.3 miles from my house in Elgin to Debba Dr. I'm going to take the shortcut through Georgetown to add about 40 miles so I can get the free brewskies. I still plan on being there, and hopefully the bride will join me. I'm going to try to bring 03ki11er's red 74 along with the 69, but I'm not sure I can pull it off.
We'll see you there if everything goes according to Hoyle!

If there are going to be more than a few C3s there, I'm there. My 75 is in pieces after I started a L-48 to BBC project this spring which now has me into replacing the body mounts.. (but i could probably push it there.. ) Anyone need a 7 month old chambered exaust setup for a early to mid 70s sbc ? It sounded great on the L-48 (and picked it up a few HP too..) It's pretty much perfect, clamps/hangers included.. Just need to get it out of my garage..

OK, boys, come and get it. I've got so much stuff to bring out Thurs that I've got to bring the Suburban and leave the 71 at home: AC stuff, insulation, AC fans, alternators, pulleys, brackets, trailer hitch, braided hose, mirrors, posters.......you get the idea.

Dang, Will. I was really looking forward to seeing that Lingenfelter '71 since you got it back on the road. I'm also really looking forward to scoping out your parts stash. Like Richard Pryor used to say about mixed feelings, it's like my mother in law just drove my new Cadillac off a cliff.
