Default Radiator Update....Rant

Well, I ordered my new radiator last Wednesday and it got to my house yesterday, not bad. But, there was a hole in the middle of the radiator and the bottom hose fitting was all bent!!!!!
I talked to all concerned and UPS is coming back today to pick up the radiator. They say it will take a few weeks to do all the paper work and then get the radiator back to the place I bought it from. UPS left the box by my back door and when I got home and looked at the box it looked like they WERE racing the big brown truck! :mad

I bought a 4 row from Highland Radiator. Did you ck them out? Prices were competitive, considering no shipping.....just a suggestion.....

Some corvette radiators do have a "dent" on the bottom of the lower hose neck. I don't think the hole in the middle of it is factory correct though.

Did you by chance check out your local NAPA store? I bought my new one there and for the price after shipping it was comparable to buying through online sources and mail order....

From experience, I will tell you to call UPS everyday until this is rectified. They will f' you over if you let them. You have to make it more expensive for them to continually field your calls than to pay out on an insurance claim. Don't even ask how I know this. :mad
