Hot Cam in ZZ4
Anybody running the HOT CAM with 1.6 roller rockers in their ZZ4? Did you
install cam yourself? Any thing you need to be aware of? Thanks. Looking to get a little more from the crate. Thanks in advance.

Re: Hot Cam in ZZ4 (BSeery)
Yup, have it with the Crane gold 1.6 roller rockers.
Watch valve cover clearance
With ZZ4 heads you should be just under 400 ponies
Should run a 750 CFM carb. 650 is too small.
Be sure to have an exaust system to let it breath.
Stock exaust manifold will choke it.
Need good headers & true duals 2.5"
Need at least 3:55 rear gears too
thats the right way to get the horse rating promised and the street performance. Less aggressive gears will bog it.
Don't think I'm forgetting anything....
It also likes 36 degrees full advance around 2400 to 2600 rpm's
Get a jet kit also for the carb...forget what my power valve is. I know I changed it.
