Looking for 1973 Build Sheet (and I have old one from former 1973 car)
Guys,
I owned a beautiful 1973 Corvette (dark blue with black vinyl interior, 454-4spd, no a/c) and sold it in 1993 to a fellow in Virginia. I don't have any papers from that sale but I would like to offer up the gas tank sticker from that car. VIN was 1Z37Z3S428349.
I am looking to obtain whatever documentation I can get for my "new" 1973 car: VIN is 1Z37Z3S429659. This car was factory painted orange with a dark saddle vinyl interior, 454 4-spd, factory a/c. I have an old (9/01/90-9/01/91) insurance card from the car listed to a Gary W. Mode in Vermont.
Any help or clues on how to proceed?
Thanks!

Call the insurance and ask them if they have a current address. Some times it works.
You can use a web based people find; USearch & Peopledata are two examples. Yahoo and other sites have phonebooks you can try. I used Yahoo and found nothing and Peopledata.com and it showed 8 Gary Modes. More information costs money. I have used USearch twice and have found my Corvette's original owner.

Roger,
I called USAA (we are both apparently insured by them) and they won't even send the guy a message asking him to contact me - appears to be a dead end.
