69 350 Lag b/t 1200-02000 rpm
New member, longtime Vette owner. What a great group you have here !
This is probably a dumb question, but....
Anyone have any ideas why I am seeing a low end (1200-2000RPM) lag in an otherwise stock 350/300HP with auto ? When RPM reaches 2000+, it becomes a rocket. Idles well, and drives/shifts well. but has an annoying lag as if it is loaded up until reaches mid RPM.
I just bought it, and it is really great shape otherwise. Thought I could tune the lag out with mixture and timing, but does not seem to help. It does have aftermarket elec points replacement, so that might be the next thing I investigate....
any thoughts out there ?
