Default Victor Jr. and Holly double pumper under which hood??

Preparing for the rebuild...

I've got a 427 with the Victor Jr. and a Holly double pumper on a stand. I've got a '68 with no drivetrain. I've got a GM-original L88 hood and air cleaner assembly as well as the "base" BB hood and air cleaner assembly. I don't yet have the hardware for the L88 hood and don't much want to use that hood, but I will if I have to.

Which hood do I need with the Victor and Holly? Would I be better off with a different intake? I've got several laying around to choose from...

Default Re: Victor Jr. and Holly double pumper under which hood?? (CGGorman)

On my 75 bigblock I started out with the LS6 high rise intake and using a drop base air cleaner, a 2 inch eliment and a cleaned up under hood I was able to make it fit.
I later switched to the victor junior but had to use a custom hood.
As for performance I found the old LS6 intake alot better.
I did mill a small part of the divider out on the LS6 just like the L88 did.
